"Parental misguidence suggested"

Films: Parents (1989)

Alias: Nick and Lily Laemle

Type: Natural

Location: Haunted home

Height/Weight: That of average humans.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: When a kid is this disturbed and distant from the world, you, as a parent, should BE there for him. Instead, what did you do? Try and get him to like the taste of man-flesh? A pox on you!

History: 50's suburb couple Nick and Lily Laemile always had a problem understanding their little son Michael. The kid is often plagued by horrific dreams, and even has visions of his parents killing people behind his back. While most write this off as crazy, the truth is that his parents are unapologetic cannibals, and they'll do anything to get Michael into the tradition.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The moment Michael starts violently rejecting the selfish family values, Nick goes nuts. Lily ends up dying at her husband's hands when her maternal instincts kick in, and in the end, Michael ends up trapping Nick in a house set to explode. He is now living with his grandparents.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-A major reason for these two getting bumped up in the scares is how insufferably cordial they are. Like most 50's family stereotypes, they are happy to a fault, and seem blissfully unaware of how horrendous their practices are.

Trivia: -Nick was played by Randy Quaid, an...interesting comedian who we'll see turn up a lot more later.

-Although this film is obviously meant to pick on 50's USA living values, it was filmed in Toronto of Canada.

Really, only terrifying when introduing them as in-laws.
That skull's got a score to settle with these two.
Hope you get a disease from that mound of meat.
